UMKC's Connection

In January 2021, we expanded our medical school M.D. program to Mosaic Life Care to help address the state’s rural physician shortage. Funded by a four-year grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration, by 2025 our inaugural group of 20 students will graduate, and by 2026 we will have 80 students on this campus with 20 each in years 3-6.
