Interview Information

The University of Missouri-Kansas City/University Health Truman Medical Center Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). Our OBGYN program will only accept residency applications for this cycle in ResidencyCAS. This is a new system for OBGYN programs this year.

Invitations to interview will be generated after a careful and holistic review of applicants. All interviews will be held virtually. We will follow the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obsterics (APGO) and Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology (CREOG) recommended standards for this interview season.

Application and Interview Timeline

Application submission deadline of Oct. 1, 2024
Interview offers will be released Oct. 29, 2024 (or within a few weeks following this date)
We will only offer invitations for the number of interview spots we have
We allow 48 hours for applicants to accept interview offers
Our first interview date will be Nov. 8 (the rest of our dates are noted below)
Final status of applications will be communicated to applicants no later than Nov. 27, 2024

We are encouraged by the flexibility and experience our applicants have shown in past years. We will continue to provide interested applicants an introduction to our program, our residents and the Kansas City area through our interview process.

Thursday

7-8 p.m. | Resident-hosted virtual happy hour

Friday (interview day)

12:45-1:30 p.m. | Residency Presentation and Q and A with our program director, Dr. Pedro Morales

1:30-4:30 p.m. | Interviews with faculty, residents and Dr. Morales.
