Didactics

During didactics, faculty, pharmacists, psychoanalysts, psychologists and staff from other disciplines cover a wide range of topics. In recent years, didactic topics have included: major DSM 5 diagnoses, PRITE review sessions, psychopharmacology, neurology, neuropsychiatry, cognitive neuroscience, psychotherapy, psychiatry and philosophy, psychiatry and religion, quality improvement and patient safety, research methodology and more.

There are monthly built-in resident wellness sessions for each class during these academic half days. Residents also learn from medicine and neurology faculty during off-service rotations.
