Application and Interviews

To be considered for our program, the following materials must be submitted through ERAS:

  • Completed ERAS application
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Personal Statement
  • Medical School Transcript
  • Dean’s letter
  • USMLE scores: minimum of 240 on Step 1 and 240 on Step 2 CK

Interview dates for 2024-25

Categorical interview dates (conducted in-person): 

  • November 15, 2024 *UMKC and local applicant date
  • November 22, 2024
  • December 6, 2024
  • December 13, 2024
  • December 20, 2024 

Preliminary interview dates (conducted via Zoom):

  • January 2025 (dates TBD)

Virtual happy hours with current general surgery residents (conducted via Zoom):

  • January 2025 (dates TBD)
