Application Information

Requirements

Fellows beginning our program must have:

  • Completed an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology or Urology residency
  • Successfully completed United States Medical Licensing Examination ® (USMLE) Step III (or equivalent COMLEX examinations)
  • Acquired basic knowledge and skills in obstetrics and gynecology

Candidates must apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service® (ERAS) Fellowships online application service. The University of Missouri-Kansas City URPS Fellowship participates in the December cycle of ERAS.

Application Documentation Requirements
Applicants must include the following materials:

  • Common Application Form and Personal Statement
  • Dean’s Letter, including official transcripts
  • Three Letters of Support:
    • 1 SLOE from your Residency Director
    • 1 SLOE from a Urogynecologist
    • 1 Narrative Letter of your choice
  • COMLEX and/or USMLE Transcript
  • ECFMG Certification (if applicable)
After ERAS documentation is complete, applicants will be asked to submit their CREOG scores.
Candidate selection will occur through the NRMP Subspecialty Match Program.
This fellowship is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).

Application Timeline

Application deadline: The program will adhere to the AUGS standardized process for interviews; to be considered for an interview, your completed application form, all applicable supporting documents and three letters of recommendation must be received by the ERAS post office by January 21, 2025.
